Abstract: A review of the clinical findings of about 102 cases of endomyocardial fibrosis (EMF) is presented. It is concluded that right ventricular EMF can be recognized in most instances on clinical grounds. The recognition of left ventricular EMF would still require sophisticated investigation. Features which may be used for the rapid recognition of EMF in the field are presented
