Latunde Odeku Medical Library, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. The ADHL is a collaborative initiative of medical librarians in Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe funded by the Office of Global AIDS/U.S. Department of State and the U.S. National Library of Medicine / National Institutes of Health.

| Abstract: | Clinical isolates of Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Campylobacter jejuni. Escherichia coli, Shigella (lysenterute. Shigella boydii, Yersinia spp. and Salmonella spp. were screened for the presence of plasmids. Approximately 80% of these strains harboured plasmids ranging in molecular weight from 1.0 to 45 x 10^ daltons. |
