African Digital Health Library (ADHL) is a collection of theses, articles, books, videos, images, lectures, papers, data sets and all types of digital content originating from the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Nigeria.The ADHL in Nigeria is managed by E. Latunde Odeku Medical Library, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. The ADHL is a collaborative initiative of medical librarians in Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe funded by the Office of Global AIDS/U.S. Department of State and the U.S. National Library of Medicine / National Institutes of Health.

| dc.description.abstract | A rare dental anomaly- transmigration is presented in a 12-year-old female Nigerian who was referred for orthodontic assessment. A right mandibular canine was found completely located in the left side of the body of the mandible having moved ectopically and progressively from its normal developmental site through the symphysis of the mandible. The importance of the radiological diagnosis with the use of panoramic radiograph is highlighted and the management briefly discussed. | en_US |
