Latunde Odeku Medical Library, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. The ADHL is a collaborative initiative of medical librarians in Kenya, Mali, Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe funded by the Office of Global AIDS/U.S. Department of State and the U.S. National Library of Medicine / National Institutes of Health.

| Abstract: | Eye diseases in 1028 children below 15 years of age, seen a! the Eye clinic of the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria were studied. Refractive error, vernal conjunctivitis, measles keratitis associated with malnutrition and those referrable to injuries were leading causes of eye problems amongst children. Diseases of ocular adnexa (excluding orbital cellulitis) squints, glaucoma, uveitis and trachoma were rare. |
