| Abstract: | Summary Primary cysts of the pericardium are uncommon, benign developmental anomaly. Most are asymptomatic and a common incidental finding on routine chest radiograph. We report a case of large pericardial cyst presenting with severe excruciating chest pain in a Nigerian man. To the best of our knowledge, no such report has emanated from the country. |
