| Abstract: | A case of accidental displacement of a mandibular molar tooth into adjacent submandibular space during routine extraction by a general practitioner is reported. The localization and surgical retrieval of the displaced tooth is described, post-operative period was uneventful and salient lessons tor the practitioners highlighted. |
